Pumpkin patches in south Texas

Summer is over, and autumn has arrived! Along with this season comes a tapestry of colorful trees, a harvest of delicious fruits and vegetables, crisper air, and scary movie marathons on television in preparation for Halloween. If you enjoy getting your place all decked out for the season and would like a few pumpkins to put around the house, you’ll be able to do that at one of the pumpkin patches in south Texas. You might have to take a little road trip to get there, but you and the family can make a whole big day out of it! We have a few suggestions of where you can visit below.

Rockin’ K Maze

Travel on over to Robstown near Corpus Christi and check out the Rockin‘ K Maze! The main attraction is a massive six-acre corn maze carved out with an impressive design of paths to wander. You can also choose a selection of pumpkins for carving, decorations, or even using for pumpkin pies! Devine Acres Farm

Take a road trip with the whole family over to Devine Acres farm in Devine, just outside of San Antonio, for fun with the Fall CountryFest! Take a scenic hayride and get a preview of the Christmas trees that may decorate your living room a little later, play an assortment of yard games, and go find the perfect pumpkins to take home! South Texas Maize

Load of the family and drive on over to Graff 7A Ranch in Hondo to enjoy the South Texas Maize! Wander around a seven-acre maze, take a hayride around the farm, grab some food and beverages, take a ride on the Matter-Corn mountain slide, and pick pumpkins to put on display at home for Halloween! Dewberry Farm

If you want to make a trip closer to the Houston area, head over to Dewberry Farm. Every weekend from September 30 through November 12, the entire family can run through a corn maze, as well as pick the perfect pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, plus enjoy over 40 other fun activities.
