One of the greatest benefits of having a compact crossover like the 2018 Honda HR-V is that, despite being a smaller vehicle, you get significantly more engine power than you would from the typical sedan. The 1.8L engine in the new HR-V generates an impressive 141 horsepower, more than enough for this crossover to have some get-up-and-go.

Additionally, the new Honda HR-V comes standard with a 2-speed continuously variable transmission, or CVT. This innovation in transmission technology means easier acceleration and a smoother ride for the driver. Best of all, because it is still a compact vehicle, the 2018 Honda HR-V does not sacrifice gas mileage, at 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.

Another fantastic element to the 2018 HR-V is the spacious cargo capabilities it gives you, without the bulk of an SUV. One of the coolest and most unique cargo features in this vehicle is the 2nd-Row Magic Seat®. This feature means that you can configure your seats in numerous different ways to accommodate countless different types of materials.
